(CBS) Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton is renowned for his speed — it’s the overwhelming reason he’s in the majors — and on Wednesday he had his crowning day in displaying his best trait in Cincinnati’s 4-0 win at St. Louis.
There was a triple to left-center field, a stolen base without a throw, a tag-up to third base that most anyone else wouldn’t have thought of and then, of course, taking home on a fly ball that went about 150 feet.
Check it out. The tag-up from third base to score a run starts just after the 1-minute mark.
